Ryan is a highly experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and Personal Trainer/Senior Fitness Specialist with a diverse educational background in Physical Therapy (College of St. Catherine, Class of 1998), Biology, and Psychology (B.S., Minnesota State University). A lifelong learner with a deep fascination for human movement, Ryan is passionate about helping people function and move better with less pain—while improving confidence, mobility, strength, balance, and overall resilience.
With a focus on older adults aged 60 and over, Ryan brings specialized expertise in basic strengthening, improving coordination, fall prevention, post-rehab fitness, and active aging. He holds certifications as a Functional Aging Specialist (one of only a few in New Mexico), a Certified Brain Health Trainer, and a Certified Fall Prevention Specialist. He is also a proud Fellow of Applied Functional Science through the esteemed Gray Institute.
In addition, Ryan is the creator of 3D Yoga, a unique approach to yoga that emphasizes functional movement in all planes of motion. As an author and educator, he continues to share his knowledge and innovative approach to fitness and aging.

Currently, Ryan works part-time at the Santo Domingo Health Clinic as a PTA and devotes the remainder of his time to in-home personal training and post-rehabilitation fitness for older adults in the Albuquerque metro area.

Known for his patience, professionalism, adaptability, and excellent communication skills, Ryan builds strong, supportive relationships with his clients. He looks forward to helping you—or a loved one—move better, feel better, and live more fully.

Continuing progress after discharge from Physical Therapy, especially for those recovering from total joint replacements or managing neurological conditions. -

Helping older adults regain control, confidence, and the ability to return to the life they want—with greater independence and less reliance on others. -

All services are provided in the comfort of your own home using minimal equipment—making fitness accessible, safe, and effective. Of course, if you have top of the line equipment, we can use that as well!
