What Is Post-Rehab Personal Training?
Post-Rehab Personal Training is designed for individuals who have been discharged from Physical Therapy or Chiropractic care but still need support regaining their full function, strength, confidence, and independence.
Many clients are not ready to jump back into traditional exercise or gym settings, and unfortunately, insurance often cuts off therapy services before someone truly feels “ready” to return to their life, hobbies, or physical goals.
That’s where I come in—with over 25 years of experience bridging the gap between rehabilitation and real-life performance. I offer one-on-one personal training for adults (especially those over 60) who want to continue progressing safely and purposefully after rehab.
⚠️ Important: This is not a Physical Therapy service. If your provider has recommended you begin or continue Physical Therapy, you must complete that medical care before working with me. I will always respect scope of practice and refer you out if needed.
Who Is Post-Rehab Personal Training For?
This service is ideal for individuals who:
-
Have completed Physical Therapy or Chiropractic care
-
Still feel unsure, unsteady, or unprepared to return to full activity
-
Want help rebuilding confidence, strength, and mobility
-
Are recovering from injury, surgery, or living with chronic conditions
-
Are looking for an experienced trainer who understands orthopedic and neurological challenges
I'm comfortable with the following:
Orthopedic Concerns:
-
Joint sprains or bone fractures
-
Low back pain
-
Muscle strains
-
Post-surgical recovery (e.g. joint replacements—I’ve had a hip replacement myself!)
Neurological Conditions:
-
Parkinson’s Disease
-
Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
-
Stroke (CVA)
Clear Boundaries, Safe Support
My priority is always your safety and long-term success. If your situation is beyond the scope of personal training, I will never hesitate to refer you to a licensed medical provider or Physical Therapist. That said, in some cases, I can collaborate alongside your existing Physical Therapy team to support your progress—especially in areas that may not be fully addressed during standard therapy sessions.
