Frequently Asked Questions
What I Do
My primary role is as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at Santo Domingo Health Clinic, where I work as part of a clinical team helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions.
In addition to my clinical work, I provide in-home fitness coaching in the Albuquerque area for adults—particularly those over 70—focused on improving strength, balance, mobility, and independence.
I help older adults move better, feel stronger, and stay active, confident, and independent.
Important Note
When working with clients in their homes, I provide personal training and movement coaching—not physical therapy.
If a concern arises outside my scope of practice, I will refer you to a qualified healthcare provide.

Independence and confidence in daily life
Please Note: Not Physical Therapy
I provide fitness coaching, not physical therapy.
If you have a new injury, worsening symptoms, or a medical condition requiring diagnosis or treatment, please consult your physician or physical therapist.
Many clients work with me after physical therapy to continue improving strength, balance, and mobility. When appropriate, I may also coordinate with your healthcare team.
If needed, I will refer you to the appropriate provider.

Can you help with flexibility and mobility?
Yes. I help clients improve movement quality so everyday tasks feel easier, safer, and more comfortable.
Can you help me get on and off the floor?
Yes—and it’s an important independence skill. We work on strength, balance, and mobility so you can do it safely and confidently.

Yes. I specialize in post-rehab fitness. I follow your surgeon or therapist’s guidelines and help you safely rebuild strength and confidence. Please complete your physical therapy first!

How long have you been doing this?
Over 25 years in physical therapy, personal training, and movement coaching.
What is your background?
